6 Reasons a Sand Candle Is the Gift for the Woman Who Already Has Every Candle

"I bought it as a gift for my mom who loves candles and I don't think she will ever go back to store candles."
KENZEY vs. the candle you usually give
Has she seen it before?
Where it goes
After the first night
Burn time, 16 oz
Almost certainly not
A bowl she already owns
Lift the wick out, drop in a new one. Looks new.
More than 100 hours
The usual gift candle
She probably has three
The jar it came in
Soot on the glass, a crater in the wax
About 30 to 40 hours
TLDR: She already has the candle you're about to buy. This is the one she hasn't seen.
1. She Hasn't Seen This One
She has the jar candles. Every brand, every scent, three deep on the shelf. This is wax in loose beads, poured into a bowl, with a wick pushed in. Most people have never seen one. The first thing she'll do is ask what it is.
2. It Goes in a Dish She Already Loves
No jar. She pours the beads into a bowl she already owns, anything 4 inches or wider: the crystal dish, the wooden bowl, the one that was her mother's. Push a wick in, light it. The gift becomes hers the moment she picks the bowl.
3. It Looks New Every Time She Lights It
Only the wax around the wick melts. When it cools, she lifts that hardened piece out with the old wick, drops in a new one, and the surface is smooth again. No soot on the glass, no crater in the middle. Thirty wicks come in the can.
4. Sixteen Ounces, More Than 100 Hours
Because only the wax around the wick melts, a 16 oz can burns for more than a hundred hours. The usual gift candle that size gives about 30 to 40, and the last inch goes in the trash with the jar. She'll still be lighting this one in February.
5. She Can Move It With the Season
The beads don't belong to the bowl. When the table changes, she lifts the wick out, pours them into a different dish, and it's a new candle in the new room. The gift you give in December is still on the table at Easter.
6. It Arrives as a Gift, Not as a Bag of Wax
Add three candles and the vessel is on us, so she opens the bowl and the beads together, ready to light that night. Three scents, one bowl, more than three hundred hours. Order this week and it's there weeks before Christmas, which is the only time this year we'll mention Christmas.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know how much wax I need?
It’s easy! Wax pearls take up about half the volume of water. So if your vessel holds 8 oz of water, you’ll need around 4 oz of wax pearls to fill it to the same level.
Here’s how to check:
Just fill your container with water, measure or weigh how much it holds, then divide that amount by 2 — that’s how much wax you’ll need to get a full, beautiful look.
Example: If your bowl holds 10 oz of water → you’ll need about 5 oz of wax pearls.
What are the wax pearls made of?
Our wax pearls are made from 100% pure palm wax blended with high-quality fragrance oil. The wax is completely paraffin-free, and the fragrance is free of parabens and phthalates – so there’s nothing toxic or harmful to breathe in. Just clean, sustainable wax infused with safe, beautiful scent.
Are they safe to breathe?
Absolutely. Our fragrance is free of parabens and phthalates, so you can enjoy it without worrying about toxins in your space.
How long does each wick last?
Cotton wicks last about 7–10 hours each. You get 30 wicks per 16 oz– that’s about 80–100 hours of cozy candlelight.
Do I need to add fragrance myself?
This product is designed to be both functional and sustainable, offering high performance while reducing environmental impact. Whether it's gentle on the skin, durable for daily use, or made with eco-friendly materials, it’s crafted with care for you and the planet.
Safety Tips
Keep only the tip of the wick visible – don’t bury it too deep. Leave a bit of space at the bottom of the vessel. Place wicks at least 1.5 inches from the edge of the container. Avoid small or narrow vessels – wax and wick might stick. Don’t overcrowd with wicks – it’s a fire risk and will burn out faster. For wood wicks, allow for more spacing – they burn hotter and wider.
Can I reuse the same wick?
Yes – and we recommend it! You can relight the same wick several times until it's fully burned down. It’s the most efficient way to enjoy your wax.
