How do I know how much wax I need?
It’s easy! Wax pearls take up about half the volume of water. So if your vessel holds 8 oz of water, you’ll need around 4 oz of wax pearls to fill it to the same level.
Here’s how to check:
Just fill your container with water, measure or weigh how much it holds, then divide that amount by 2 — that’s how much wax you’ll need to get a full, beautiful look.
Example: If your bowl holds 10 oz of water → you’ll need about 5 oz of wax pearls.

Keep only the tip of the wick visible – don’t bury it too deep. Leave a bit of space at the bottom of the vessel. Place wicks at least 1.5 inches from the edge of the container. Avoid small or narrow vessels – wax and wick might stick. Don’t overcrowd with wicks – it’s a fire risk and will burn out faster. For wood wicks, allow for more spacing – they burn hotter and wider.
Can I reuse the same wick?
